AluminiumBuilt for outside. Powder-coated, salt-air rated and rigid enough for big spans - the right call for alfrescos, patios and beachfront windows.

Waterproof PVCCompletely unaffected by moisture. Goes where timber shouldn't - bathrooms, ensuites, laundries and poolside windows. Wipes clean.

How it works
A free measure, a fixed price and a proper install - so the shutters go in once, sit square, and keep working for decades.
Suburb, shutter type, how many openings and your timeline. 60 seconds online - add a photo and we can quote even sharper.
A shutter specialist comes to you, measures every opening to the millimetre and leaves you with an exact, all-in price. No pressure, no obligation.
Your panels are built to your measurements, then fitted and adjusted on site. Most Gold Coast homes are installed 4-6 weeks after measure-up.
By a local team who fit plantation shutters every day, spec the right product for a coastal climate, and pick up the phone when you call.
We come to you, measure every opening properly and quote on the spot. No charge, no obligation.
The number we quote is the number on the invoice. No surprises after install.
Nothing off the shelf. Every panel is manufactured to your exact opening, including odd shapes.
Salt air and humidity ruin the wrong product. We spec aluminium and PVC where timber has no business being.
The people who measure are the people who fit. No subcontractors, no handover gaps.
Product and workmanship both covered, in writing, before you commit.
Reviews
Feedback from Gold Coast customers who've had plantation shutters measured, made and installed by us.
“Our west-facing lounge was unusable by three in the afternoon. They did timber shutters across the whole front of the house and it’s a completely different room - cooler, and the light is beautiful.”
“We’re two streets from the beach so they talked us into aluminium for the alfresco and PVC in the bathrooms instead of timber. Two summers on - no swelling, no rust, no fuss.”
“Measured, made and installed exactly when they said. The raked window above the stairs is why we chose them - nobody else wanted to touch it.”
FAQ
Our indoor range is basswood - a light, dimensionally stable hardwood that holds a painted or stained finish beautifully and won't sag over time. Wet areas get waterproof PVC. Outdoors we use powder-coated aluminium built for salt air.
Yes, provided the right material goes in the right place - which is exactly why the range is split. Aluminium and PVC are unaffected by moisture and salt, so they go in bathrooms, laundries, poolside and beachfront openings. Timber goes in the living areas where it looks its best.
Meaningfully. Closed louvres stop direct sun before it reaches the glass and create an insulating air gap, and you can angle them to keep light without the heat. Western-facing rooms are where customers notice the biggest difference.
Typically 4-6 weeks. Panels are manufactured to your exact measurements, so there is a build window - we confirm the install date at measure-up and keep you posted.
Yes - raked and angled windows, arches, bay returns, corner joins and full-height sliders are all doable. Send a photo with your enquiry and we'll tell you straight away.
Both. Timber shutters can be painted in a standard white or a colour match, or stained to show the grain. Aluminium comes powder-coated in a range of finishes. We bring samples to the measure.
Between $350 and $900 per square metre installed, depending on material, configuration and the shape of the opening. Most Gold Coast homes land between $450 and $700 per square metre once the mix of rooms is accounted for, which puts a 3-bedroom house in the $5,400 to $11,700 range. We would rather put the numbers in front of you than make you ring for them, and the in-home measure and quote are free.
Yes. Plantation blinds, window shutters, interior shutters and internal shutters all describe the same product - a framed panel of wide adjustable louvres fitted permanently to the window. Shutter is the technically correct term, but plantation blinds is what plenty of Gold Coast homeowners call them and we answer to both.
Yes. Outdoor shutters and external shutters are powder-coated aluminium rather than timber, because direct weather and salt air will eventually move any timber no matter how well it is finished. We fit them to alfrescos, patios, balconies and beachfront openings right across the Gold Coast.
Yes, and it is one of the main reasons parents choose them over blinds. There are no cords, no chains and no loose fabric anywhere in the system, so there is nothing for a child to pull or become tangled in. That applies to every range we make, in every room.
Closed louvres block most of it, but a shutter is not a blackout blind - a little light still comes through the gaps between the louvre and the frame. In a bedroom that is usually enough for a comfortable sleep-in. If you need genuine blackout, say so at the measure and we will talk through pairing shutters with a blockout blind behind them.
Yes, and it is some of the most common work we do. Door openings need panels that fold or track aside rather than swing, so we build them as bi-fold or sliding sets that clear the doorway completely and then close down for shade and privacy. The material depends on whether the opening gets weather.
Yes - from Coolangatta and Currumbin in the south, through Burleigh, Broadbeach and Surfers, up to Southport, Hope Island and Coomera, and inland to Nerang, Mudgeeraba and Tamborine Mountain. Northern New South Wales up to Tweed Heads as well.
